Images from ‘Delay-a-grams’ – solo show at 2021 Visual Arts Centre, September – November 2025
The show presented a series of monumental canvases that functioned like interrupted transmissions. The work explored psychological space as a kind of loading screen—exposing the moment of techno anxiety where digital data hasn’t quite materialised. Through a dense layering of cassette futurist iconography, the exhibition used the physical scale of the church-turned-gallery to confront viewers with the overwhelming architecture of modern communication.
