‘Communication Stations’ was an engagement project, in which participants sent messages around the City, like a giant Chinese whisper.
We linked after school clubs with community gardens, street play groups and lunch clubs, involving participants of all ages from eighteen months to ninety one.
The messages took the form of painted tiles which came together to form ‘Nigel’ a giant Satallite dish. Nigel and other works, were exhibited at North Point Shopping centre and in the Back to Ours ‘Living Room space’ in January 2020.
The project was commissioned by Arts Council England, through http://www.backtoours.co.uk
